Berry Picking | Strawberry + Blueberry Printable
Our first summer activity as a family for four was strawberry picking. I hadn’t been strawberry picking since I was a kid. Since having kids of our own, I’ve ben dying to take them strawberry picking. This is the first time we have lived in an area where strawberry crops actually exist so my strawberry picking dreams were coming true, thanks to Jefferies Orchard! Unfortunately, we came towards the end of strawberry season, so we were left with the small ones. It was no bother as these strawberries are perfect bite size for my morning oatmeal. We did make it in time for blueberry season though (though we went on a very busy day and spent an hour picking with only a dollars worth of blueberries). We’re still crazy about berry picking so Anthem and I did this fun little craft, making large glittery strawberries and gluing the tops on blueberries (or as Anthem and I would say, “put the crowns on the berries”) ! If you missed berry picking season, scroll down below to get the link to the printable.
You can either use the printable as a template to trace and cut out the berries and tops from construction paper or you can just color, cut and glue as is. It was a fun activity for us and I hope you enjoy it!
