While I was in Tennessee, I started this illustration of Delpozo's skirt and billowing top combo from Spring 2014. I was drawn to this because of the colors, but after tearing the cream and light orange paper, I realized that these are the colors of the Tennessee Vols, the University of Tennessee's football team. Orange and white. If you know me, you'd know I'm not big into football. Not even into my own town's college football. So no, my blood does not run orange and white. But I sure was seeing it, everywhere! Yay for college football season!

I swear life is constantly telling me inspiration can come from anywhere. So I don't know why I act so surprised when it comes from the least likely places.

I am sure that by being in Tennessee I was brain washed by all the Volunteer pride and that's what drew me to this particular garment. In all seriousness, I do love this piece; the structure of the garment with the blocky skirt paired with a loose flowing top. Then there's the colors! I'm obsessed with the touch of the mint eye shadow and the lilac heels. It create such a gorgeous color combo with that cream and orange. I never thought I could be so into white and orange! Delpozo, you've made me a believer!
